Metropolis, IL Seeking Superman Statue Photos for New Billboard

If you have ever posed for a photo in front of the 15-foot-tall Superman Statue in Metropolis, IL, your picture could be featured as part of a new promotion for the city.
The Greater Metropolis, IL Convention & Visitors Bureau is currently requesting such photos from individuals to be used on a new billboard welcoming visitors to the Official Home of Superman.
The world-famous bronze statue stands watch over Superman Square and has been a hot spot for photo-ops in the Metropolis downtown district since being unveiled on June 5th, 1993 preceding the town's 15th Annual Superman Celebration.
Photos may be submitted for consideration at the Greater Metropolis, IL Convention & Visitors Bureau Facebook page or e-mailed to director@metropolistourism.com.
