Game developer Winning Moves has signed an exclusive two-year deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products UK to launch DC Universe Heroes and Villains Top Trumps card game which will feature Superman, Batman and a host of other popular DC Comics characters.

"We are absolutely delighted to be working with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on the launch of the DC Universe Heroes and Villains Top Trumps card game," stated Fiona Hortopp, head of marketing, Winning Moves.

"The pack will be filled with all the classic super heroes but will also introduce some new ones who could well challenge the originals in the Top Trumps battle to become the best super hero of them all."

General manager of Warner Bros Consumer Products UK, Paul Bufton also commented: "The DC Comics universe provides a rich portfolio of characters and stories and this card game will allow fans to collect their favourite super hero or villain. We expect fun, interactive, pocket money priced items like Top Trumps to do very well at retail beginning this summer."

The DC Universe Heroes and Villains Top Trumps card game is set to debut at retailers across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the US this summer. Interesting facts and statistics about every character will be featured on each card.
