February 25, 2014: Gal Gadot Posts Another Wonder Woman Training Photo

by Neil Cole

Actress Gal Gadot is currently training extensively in order to physically tranform herself for her upcoming role as Wonder Woman in the 2016 follow-up to "Man of Steel."

Just last week, Gadot took to her Facebook page to post a photo of the results of her training thus far by flexing her muscles. Now, Gadot has posted the following photo which features the actress balancing on a medicine ball with the caption, "Selfi while standing on a ball. Now tell me this is not original! Good morning!!!"

To help Gadot in her physical training regime which consists of Kung Fu, kickboxing, jujitsu, Brazilian and sword fighting, Warner Bros. have brought in expert trainer Mark Twight.

Alongside Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, the yet-to-be-officially-titled film will star Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, and Diane Lane as Martha 'Ma' Kent.

The new film is currently being written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

The film is set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
