'Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman' Costume Up for Auction
An authentic Superman costume worn by actor Dean Cain on the hit television series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" will soon be up for bids through Hanlin's Auction Service in Qunicy, IL.
The costume consists of a blue Spandex jumpsuit complete with the iconic 'S' emblem attached onto the chest, red spandex briefs with yellow belt, and a red cotton cape with an all-yellow version of the 'S' emblem sewn on.
The spandex suit has a sewn in opening requested by Dean Cain so he could use the bathroom without taking the costume off as well as two straps attached to each side of the cape and velcro strips on the top of suit to keep the cape positioned in a certain way.
The winning bidder will also receive two letters detailing the authenticity and history of the piece as well as a video featuring Dean Cain signing all the pieces and authenticating the costume.
