"Justice League" recently made it's home video debut on various Blu-ray and DVD editions coming in at #1 on both the NPD VideoScan overall disc sales chart, which tracks combined DVD and Blu-ray Disc unit sales, and the dedicated Blu-ray Disc chart.
The film is officially the lowest-grossing box office entry in Warner Bros.' DC Films Universe but has certainly garnered a very impressive resurgence in the home video market with just Blu-ray Discs sales accounted for 70% of total sales.
According to Variety, not only did "Justice League" top the latest batch of new Blu-ray and DVD releases that debuted in the top 20, but also knocked last week's top seller, Marvel's "Thor: Ragnarok", down to #2.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
