"Superman: The Movie" 40th Anniversary Screening in Belfast, Northern Ireland

A special 40th Anniversary screening of "Superman: The Movie" will be hosted by Odyssey Cinemas in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Saturday, May 5th at 8:00PM.
The screening will feature the 'Extended Cut' of the 1978 blockbuster film which originally aired in February, 1982 as a two-night broadcast by ABC and includes over 40 minutes of footage not seen in the theatrical release.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase a limited edition print created specifically for the event designed by local illustrator and comic-book artist Mark Reihill.
The screeing will be preceded by an introduction by BanterFlix's Jim McClean and Tim Burden from the Braid Film Theatre as they briefly discuss the significance of this version of director Richard Donner's film.
