Fans of the popular Nintendo video game series, Scribblenauts, may soon have the opportunity to play in environments straight out of the DC Comics universe.

According to multiple IGN sources, game developer 5th Cell is currently working on the project which at one point was titles "Scribblenauts Unmasked." However, the original design of the game is currently going through several alterations.

Scribblenauts has been one of Nintendo's best selling titles since first debuting on the Nintendo DS in 2009.

Prior to the aforementioned alterations, "Scribblenauts Unmasked" was to feature such DC Comics locales as the Batcave and Atlantis as well as such characters as Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Killer Croc, Clayface, the Joker, Aquaman, Black Manta, Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze.
