Helen Slater Appearing at 2018 Geek'd Con

Actress Helen Slater will be among the featured guests appearing at 2018 Geek'd Con which takes place August 17th - 19th at the Shreveport Convention Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Slater is best known for her starring role as Superman's Kryptonian cousin Supergirl in TriStar Pictures's 1984 film of the same name.
In the following years, she starred in several successful comedy-drama films such as "The Legend of Billie Jean," "Ruthless People," "The Secret of My Success," and "City Slickers." She additionally found work as an actress in television, and stage projects, including guest appearances on the television series "Smallville" as Clark Kent's Kryptonian mother Lara.
In 2015, Slater again returned to the DC Comics universe as Kara Danver's adoptive mother Eliza Danvers on the hit CW television series "Supergirl".
