British actor Blake Ritson has been announced as the final featured celebrity guest to be appearing at the upcoming 40th Annual Superman Celebration which takes place June 7th - 10th in Metropolis, IL.
Ritson currently stars as the iconic villain Brainiac on the SYFY series "Krypton". In recent years he has starred in such roles as King Edward III in the TV miniseries "World Without End," the Duke of Kent in "Upstairs Downstairs," and the main antagonist Girolamo Riarioin in "Da Vinci's Demons".
Other guests appearing at the Superman Celebration include Brandon Routh ("Superman Returns" - Superman/Clark Kent), Shaun Sipos ("Krypton" - Adam Strange), Jack O'Halloran ("Superman: II" - Non), Jeff East ("Superman: The Movie" - Young Clark Kent), Aaron Smolinski ("Superman: The Movie" - Baby Clark Kent), John Haymes Newton ("Adventures of Superboy" - Superboy/Clark Kent), and Ilya Salkind ("Superman: The Movie" - Executive Producer).
Many special events are also planned for this year's celebration including musical entertainment, a carnival, Superman Celebrity Autograph and Q & A Sessions, and the Heroes & Villains Costume Contest.
