June 10, 2014: Large Superman Statue Takes Shape on "Batman v. Superman" Set

A Michigan native going by the name of "Bananadoc" recently snapped the following picture of a 15-foot-tall Superman statue and huge green screen which is currently being constructed on the set of "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice".
The statue is being assembled in Pontiac, MI in front of the former General Motors building directly across the street from the Michigan Motion Picture Studios.
"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" stars Henry Cavill in the role of Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film.
The film is set to open worldwide on May 6, 2016, and is based on Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster, Batman characters created by Bob Kane, and Wonder Woman created by William Moulton Marston, appearing in comic books published by DC Entertainment.
