June 28, 2017: Exclusive Superman Themed Products Coming to San Diego Comic-Con
by Neil ColeThis years San Diego Comic-Con International is rapidly approaching and, as in previous years, there will be several exclusive collectibles available during the event including a few themed after the Man of Steel.
From Funko will be a limited edition Pop! vinyl figure of Daffy Duck based on his appearance in the 1956 cartoon "Stupor Duck" which parodied Superman. The figure is part of Funko's Pop! Animation: Looney Tunes line and limited to only 2,000 pieces.
Entertainment Earth will be offering an exclusive Justice League Pin Mate Wooden Figure Set of 3 from Bif Bang Pow! featuring three retro-styled, 2-inch scale wooden figures inspired by the 2017 "Justice League" film. Each wooden figure features highly detailed, brightly colored, 360-degree artwork and includes an individual number within the DC Comics Pin Mate series: SUPERMAN (#12), BATMAN (#13), and WONDER WOMAN (#14).
Lastly, LEGO will have an exclusive BrickHeadz twin pack containing both Supergirl and Martian Manhunter based on each character's likenesses from the hit CW television series.
Thus far, these are the only exclusive items themed after the Man of Steel that have been announced but more may be revealed in the weeks leading up to San Diego Comic-Con International.
The 2017 convention takes place July 20th - July 23rd at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA.
