by Neil Cole

The voice cast of the hit "Justice League" animated series recently reunited at this past weekends Denver Comic-Con which took place at the Denver, CO Convention Center.

The reunion panel featured veteran voice director Andrea Romero welcoming cast members George Newbern (Superman), Kevin Conroy (Batman), Susan Eisenberg (Wonder Woman), Phil LaMarr (Green Lantern), Michael Rosenbaum (The Flash), and Maria Canals-Barrera (Hawkgirl) to the stage.

For the occasion, the cast performed a live-reading of the three-part series finale "Starcrossed" which exposed the truth behind Hawkgirl's presence on Earth as well as her complicated romance with Green Lantern all while an alien invasion is being led by her own people, the Thanagarians.

Following the performance, the cast took questions from those in attendance and were very enthusiastic about a potential revival of the "Justice League" animated series. Eisenberg stated that if it worked for "Young Justice", it can work again and Romero encouraged fans to take to social media and let Warner Bros. know they want the series to come back.

"Justice League" originally aired for two-seasons from 2001 to 2004 on the Cartoon Network before becoming "Justice League Unlimited" and airing an additional three seasons until 2006. Both versions of the series remain fan favorties and are considered to be among the best DC adaptations to date.
