Sam Witwer Joins Cast of "Supergirl" as Agent Liberty

The "Supergirl" casting department has managed to snag another "Smallville" alumni in the form of actor Sam Witwer who will portray the character of Agent Liberty in the upcoming 4th season of the hit CW program.
Witwer played paramedic Davis Bloome/Doomsday in the eighth season of "Smallville" and is also well known for his roles as Aidan Waite on "Being Human" as well as Lt. Crashdown of "Battlestar Galactica".
According to Entertainment Weekly, the "Supergirl" version of Agent Liberty will be portrayed as "the ruthless and terrifying founder and figurehead of Children of Liberty, a hate group that supports a human-first world order."
"Supergirl" premieres it's 4th season on Sunday, October 14 at 8/7c on The CW.
