In a recent interview with Digital Spy, actress Teri Hatcher stated that while she enjoyed "Man of Steel", she would like to see more of the relationship between Lois Lane and Superman in the film's sequel.

"In the end, what I think carries through so strongly is the relationship between Lois and Clark, Lois and Superman," stated Hatcher. "Even in Man of Steel, that was my favorite part of it. I kind of wish for a little bit more of seeing them."

Hatcher is best remembered for her starring role as Lois Lane opposite actor Dean Cain in the hit tv series, "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" which enjoyed a four season run in the 1990's on ABC.

In regard to Henry Cavill's portrayal of Superman, Hatcher stated, ""I really enjoyed it, I kind of joked, 'Wow, he should work on his body'. Like anyone could say that with a straight face!"
