La-La Land Records, Warner Bros. Entertainment, Water Tower Music and DC present an all-new 3-CD set release of the original motion picture scores to the 1980 and 1983 feature films, "Superman: II" and "Superman: III", starring Christopher Reeve, Gene Hackman, Margot Kidder, Terence Stamp, Richard Prior, and Robert Vaughn, and directed by Richard Lester.
Superman maestro John Williams' spellbinding music, adapted and conducted by British composer Ken Thorne, sends the Man of Steel soaring high, with a stupendous orchestral score that proves to be a wondrous way to celebrate Superman's 80th Anniversary! Previously only available as part of a now out-of-print 8-CD set from Film Score Monthly, this release makes this notable work available once again for a new generation of comic book and superhero movie fans.
The "Superman: II / Superman: III" 3-CD soundtrack set is limited to 3000 units and will release on Tuesday, October 23rd. A complete track listing and retail cost are expected to be announced soon.
