E! Online had an opportunity to speak with "Man of Steel" director, Zack Snyder at the recent Arthritis Foundation gala in Beverly Hills, CA and asked if he is already planning a sequel to the much-anticipated film.
"We like to take it one step at a time and not curse anything," stated Snyder. "It's that kind of thing so we'll see what happens."
When asked about seeing the film's star, Henry Cavill in the suit for the first time, Snyder stated, "It was awesome! You look at him and you're like, 'That was a good idea!'"
Although Cavill was in attendance at the event, he did not speak with the press. However, Christopher Meloni who co-stars as Colonel Hardy in "Man of Steel" spoke briefly about what audiences can expect to see.
"I just keep telling everyone it's a reimagining and something that you've never seen before in your life—how a superhero is portrayed, the journey he gave him and how it's filmed. You've never see anything like it."
"Man of Steel" stars Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni and Russell Crowe.
The film opens nationwide on June 14, 2013.
