A new report claims that the 2015 follow-up to "Man of Steel" may borrow storyline elements from Grant Morrison's twelve-issue comic book series, "All-Star Superman" which ran from November, 2005 to October, 2008.
The report comes from CBM fansite owner, 'nailbiter111', who states that their source, 'General Napier', has revealed that "Zack Snyder's Lex Luthor isn't gonna be focusing on real estate" as in previous films but will instead "be rooted on his belief that Superman is not good for mankind" and resemble characteristics from the version of Lex featured in "All-Star Superman".
Supposedly, actor James Purefroy of Fox's "The Following" turned down a chance at the role while it currently remains a mystery as to whom will eventually land the part.
The article also claims that both the Flash and Wonder Woman WILL appear in the film. However, neither character will appear in their costumes but only as Barry Allen and Princess Diana, respectively.
In a nutshell, all these claims need to be treated exactly the same as all prior casting rumors and taken with the biggest grain of salt until proven official by Warner Bros. or Snyder himself.
The yet-to-be-titled follow-up to "Man of Steel" will hit theaters on July 17, 2015 and will feature Affleck's debut as Batman/Bruce Wayne alongside returning stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha 'Ma' Kent, and Laurence Fishburne as Perry White.
