'Supergirl' Casts Jessica Meraz in Role of Antihero Menagerie

Actress Jessica Meraz ("Major Crimes", "Chasing Life") has been cast in the recurring role of Pamela Ferrer, aka Menagerie, on the hit CW television series "Supergirl".
The DC Comics character first appeared in Action Comics #775 (March, 2001) as a member of The Elite; a group of antiheroes led by Manchester Black who is played by actor David Ajala on the TV series.
Menagerie previously appeared in the 2012 animated film "Superman vs. The Elite" voiced by actress Melissa Disney. The live-action version of the character will be portrayed as a jewel thief who doesn't mind hurting people.
As of this writing, Meraz's debut appearance as Menagerie has not yet been announced. "Supergirl" airs Sundays on the CW at 8:00PM (EST).
