Special effects artist Steve Johnson has released 30 more photos of his work from Tim Burton's canceled "Superman Lives" movie.

The film was slated to star actor Nicolas Cage in the lead role of Superman with a script based on the "Doomsday" comic book storyline in which the Man of Steel dies only to be resurrected a short while later.

Due to constant delays, "Superman Lives" was ultimately scrapped altogether and never made it past the pre-production phases which included many designs and sculptures of the Superman costume being created.
