New photos of various cast members have emerged from the Metropolis set of "Superman" (formerly "Superman: Legacy") which is currently filming in downtown Cleveland, OH.

Among those spotted filming scenes for the highly anticipated film were Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, and Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe.

Also seen for the first time on set was actor Frank Grillo in his role as field commander of the Suicide Squadron, Rick Flag Sr. whom he will also be starring as in the upcoming second season of the Max television series, "Peacemaker".

Appearing alongside Grillo in the latest set photos is María Gabriela De Faría as The Authority team member, Angela Spica/The Engineer as well as an unidentified character who may turn out to be the film's version of Ultraman based on the unmistakable "U" logo featured on his chest.

"Superman" tells the story of Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

"Superman" is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 11th, 2025.
