"Adventures of Superman" Print by Artist Jon Pinto
Artist Jon Pinto has created an amazing new artwork piece in honor of the classic 1950's "Adventures of Superman" television series.
The artwork features George Reeves as Clark Kent and as Superman lifting a car in a nod to the iconic cover of "Action Comics #1" along with depictions of series co-stars Noel Neill as Lois Lane, John Hamilton as Perry White, and Jack Larson as Jimmy Olsen.
"I actually started working on this a few years back after I completed the 40th anniversary poster for Superman: The Movie," says Pinto. "If you remember, in that one, I posed Christopher Reeve in the iconic pose of Superman found on his first issue. So for this one, it just seemed to be a natural to pose George Reeves in the pose of Action Comics #1!"
