Christopher Reeve & Helen Slater Meet in Fan Created "Supergirl" Scene

Fellow Superman fan Aaron Price from the YouTube Channel, A Price Production has worked tirelessly to create an impressive fan edit of Supergirl (Helen Slater) saying goodbye to her cousin Superman (Christopher Reeve) at the end of the 1984 "Supergirl" film.

"Sadly, as many know, Christopher Reeve dropped out of the film, just before filming began, which meant we never got the chance to see his Superman and her Supergirl on screen together."

"So using my skills, I've done a little editing and tried to play the end scene, like an alternate reality where Reeve did appear in the film. Ending with Supergirl saying goodbye to her cousin."

"When I thought about doing this, I wanted to use Superman III, but found there wasn't enough suitable shots to make it work. Superman IV suffered a similar problem. Though I do use a back shot of Reeve from Superman IV in this."

"I eventually went with using the deleted balcony scene from Superman II instead. I know that Chris would have looked a bit more mature if he had been in Supergirl. However it's nice to think what could have been. Lighting changes in places, which will always be an issue between clips."

"Some of the audio clips are a little rough, as it was tricky to find the right tone and audio clips to fit the scene. No doubt had this originally happened in the film, the dialogue between both of them, would have been more emotional. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this little alternate reality fantasy clip I put together. Feel free to like, comment and share!"
