The DC Super Heroes Cafe have officially closed their only Philippines location which opened just two years ago in the SM Mega Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong City.
"The DC Super Heroes Cafe team would like to thank every single patron and fan who have walked through our doors since we opened in 2018," stated the restaurant in a Facebook post. "To say that it was our pleasure to serve you is an extreme understatement."
"Our goal was to create a place where every superhero fan can enjoy good food and feel at home. Seeing your faces when you walk into our store, when you talk excitedly about our team about how you enjoy all the small details, when you acknowledge the service and food makes it all worth it. You are the true heroes."
The chain of restaurants features DC Comics inspired decor and a menu themed around the iconic characters of DC including the Superman Cappuccino complete with a cocoa dusting of the famous "S" shield and the Bat Burger which comes with a wagyu beef patty served of a black bun and a cheesy Batman symbol.
The family-style eateries first opened in 2015 and were created by the JT Network which continues to operate locations in Malaysia and Singapore. The company also operates an official chain of DC Comics Super Hero retail stores with locations in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Macau and Hong Kong.
