Drive-In Screening of "Superman: III" in Alberta, Canada

The Museum of the Highwood will present a special drive-in screening of "Superman: III" on Saturday, September 10th at the iconic High River Sunset Drive-In in High River, Alberta, Canada at 8:30PM (MDT).

Computer programmer Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) is hired by financial tycoon Ross Webster (Robert Vaughn) to seize control of a weather satellite and annihilate Colombia's coffee crop. When Superman (Christopher Reeve in his third outing as the Man of Steel) manages to thwart the plan, Webster commands Gorman to use the satellite to locate kryptonite, the Man of Steel's mortal weakness. But a missing unknown element in the kryptonite -- replaced by Gorman with tar -- causes an unintended side effect when presented to Superman.

Fans are invited to attend this SUPER special showing of this 1983 classic filmed (mostly) in and around High River and Calgary. Along with the SUPER nostalgic movie, guests can expect some SUPER sweet prizes so be sure to grab your tickets today!

Gates will open at 7:30PM and the movie will begin at 8:30PM. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit MuseumoftheHighwood.com.
