Actress Helen Slater will be appearing as a featured guest at the Hill Country Comicon which takes place April 4th & 5th and the New Braunfels Civic & Convention Center in New Braunfels, Texas.
Slater is best known for her starring role as the title character in TriStar Pictures's 1984 film, "Supergirl" alongside Faye Dunaway and Peter O'Toole.
In the following years, she starred in several successful comedy-drama films such as "The Legend of Billie Jean," "Ruthless People," "The Secret of My Success," and "City Slickers." She additionally found work as an actress in television, and stage projects, including guest appearances on the television series "Smallville" as Clark Kent's Kryptonian mother Lara.
In 2015, Slater again returned to the DC Comics universe as Kara Danver's adoptive mother Eliza Danvers on the hit CW television series "Supergirl".
