A new rumor making the rounds suggests that Henry Cavill will be making a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend during DC's Hall H Comic-Com panel.
The rumor comes from Deadline who reports that following an appearance from Dwayne Johnson and Warner Bros. theatrical session earlier in the day, Cavill will put in a surprise appearance to talk up more Superman.
If this is indeed the case, it would mark Cavill's first return to the role of Superman since "Zack Snyder's Justice League". All other live action appearances of the Man of Steel since that time have only been cameos by body doubles in both "Peacemaker" and "Shazam!".
As of this writing, neither Warner Bros. or any other official source has confirmed or denied the rumor.
