James Gunn Shares New Artwork of David Corenswet as Superman

Director James Gunn has shared a new piece of artwork on his official Instagram account featuring actor David Corenswet in his role as the Man of Steel in "Superman" (formerly "Superman: Legacy")

The artwork is done in the style of a sticker and features Corenswet in full costume flying towards the camera against a backdrop of the redesigned "S" shield from the film. However, Gunn states that the artwork is "from the camera department" which most likely indicates that it is not an "official" piece of promotional art and was created just for fun.

Check out the new sticker artwork below along with an additional image of Gunn created in the same style.

"Superman" tells the story of Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.

In addition to Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, the films stars Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, María Gabriela De Faría as The Engineer, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, and Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe.
