Director James Gunn recently marked the one-year anniversary of filming "Superman" with a special post on his social media. The photo, which was shared on February 28, 2025, offers fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the production in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Gunn captioned the post, "One year ago today. Longyearbyen, Svalbard. Faster than a speeding bullet toward July 11, 2025," teasing the upcoming release of the film.
The image itself is simple but evocative, showing the iconic red boots of David Corenswet, who plays Superman, as he stands in the snowy landscape of the Arctic.
"Superman" premieres in theater on July 11, 2025.
