The Jewish-American Hall of Fame has issued their latest art medal featuring Superman co-creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
The art medal series has been issued since 1969 and celebrates the Jewish community's heritage and achievements in such fields as entertainment, sports, public service, and medicine.
The limited-edition Siegel & Shuster medal features an obverse design by sculptor Eugene Daub of the two co-creators working on a page of comic art while the reverse features a design by Jewish-American Hall of Fame director Mel Wacks with the word "POW!" and a fist punching through the inscription "THE JEWISH-AMERICAN HALL OF FAME".
Produced by the Highland Mint, each 3-ounce medal is available in limited quantities of 150 bronze ($50), 75 pure silver ($200) and 35 gold-plated pure silver ($250) along with a serial number on the medal's edge and a certificate of authenticity.
