Actor Jon Cryer recently took home the award for Best Guest Performance on a Television Series at the 46th Annual Saturn Awards for his role as Lex Luthor on the "Supergirl" television series.
Other nominees that Cryer was up against in the category included Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon - "The Mandalorian"), Mark Hamill (Jim the Vampire - "What We Do in the Shadows"), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan - "The Walking Dead"), Kate Mulgrew (Alma Lane - "Mr. Mercedes"), Billy Porter (Keith - "The Twilight Zone"), and Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine - "Star Trek: Picard").
In addition to Cryer's nomination and win, Melissa Benoist was nominated in the category of Best Actress on Television but lost out to Caitriona Balfe for her roll as Claire Fraser on the Starz series, "Outlander" while "Supergirl" lost to the Amazon Prime Video series, "The Boys" for Best Superhero Adaptation Television Series.
The 46th Annual Saturn Awards was presented by the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films and took place on Tusday, October 26th at the L.A. Marriott Burbank Hotel in Burbank, CA.
