Actor Eddie Jones who played the role of Jonathan "Pa" Kent" on the hit ABC television "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" has passed away at the age of 82.
Jones starred in the role of Clark Kent's adoptive father for all four seasons of the series alongside Dean Cain as Clark/Superman, Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, and K. Callan as Martha "Ma" Kent.
During the 1980's, Jones appeared in several Off-Broadway productions including "April Snow," "Curse of the Starving Class," "Triple Feature," and "The Freaks". Throughout the decade, he would also star in such memorable films as "Trading Places," "C.H.U.D.," and "The Rocketeer".
Following "Lois & Clark", Jones appeared on the Sci-Fi Channel series "The Invisible Man" in the role of Charles Borden/The Official and voiced the role of CCS Takkukura in the American dub of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex".
Jones passed away Jones on July 6th in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Anita Khanzadian-Jones. The staff of the Superman Super Site wishes to express on most sincere thoughts and prayers to the Jones family during this difficult time of mourning.
