Metropolis, Illinois Announces Dates for the 2022 Superman Celebration
The Metropolis, IL Chamber of Commerce has announced the official dates for the 2022 Superman Celebration which will take place Friday, June 10th - Sunday, June 12th.
The annual event is a long standing festival and a must see event for people of all ages, especially comic book lovers. Superman fans travel from all over the globe to visit the small southern Illinois town that is the Official Home of Superman. The real life Metropolis, with a population of 6,500 residents, welcomes approximately 30,000 people over the course of the celebration.
As with the 2021 Superman Celebration, this years festival will also be shortened to only 3 days as opposed to the usual 4.
