NECA has announced their line-up of exclusives for this years San Diego Comic-Con which includes a Superman/Xenomorph action figure 2-pack based on 1995 comic book in which the Man of Steel fought the Aliens from the Ridley Scott films.
In the 1995 Superman/Aliens comic book mini-series co-published by DC Comics and Dark Horse, Superman faces the ferocious Xenomorphs on a search-and-rescue mission to a planet without a yellow sun, the source of his immense power.The set includes two brand new, comic book based figures, both with over 30 points of articulation. Superman stands approximately 7” tall, features a fabric cape and comes with attachable eye blast effect. The Alien stands approximately 9” tall and has a bendable tail.
This action figure 2-pack is inspired by classic comic book mash-ups! This set is based on a DC/Dark Horse mini-series and comes in window box packaging with embossed opening flap.
The Superman/Xenomorph set retails for $60.00 and will be available in a limited quantity along with all the other SDCC exclusives at the NECA booth (#3145) during the course of the convention.
For those unable to attend the convention, NECA will also be accepting on-line pre-orders via their website from June 5th to June 7th.
Beginning each day at 1pm EST/10am PT, NECA will release one limited batch of SDCC exclusives for pre-order until they are sold out. Each excluve will be limited to two per item, per household.
All on-line purchases will begin shipping one week after Comic-Con but could possibly be delayed as late as mid-August.
