DC Studios unveiled a stunning new promotional standee for James Gunn's "Superman" at this weekends Bengaluru Comic Con which is one of India's largest pop culture events that has become a major hub for fans to celebrate all things comics, movies, and entertainment.
Shared via the DC Film News X account, the standee features a dynamic 3D-inspired version of the new Superman logo, set against a striking blue background. The design is accompanied by the film's title card and the iconic DC Comics logo, creating a visually captivating display.
The official synopsis for the film reads, "James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who's driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind."
Previously know as "Superman: Legacy", the film stars Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, and Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent.
"Superman" is currently scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 11th, 2025.
