Shaquille O'Neal Meets Superman (David Corenswet) in NBA All-Star 2025 Media Day Skit

In a skit from the NBA All-Star 2025 Media Day, Shaquille O'Neal found himself in an unexpected encounter with the new Superman, David Corenswet. The video begins with O'Neal, the 7-foot NBA legend, checking out the new Superman suit which - assuming that it is meant for him to wear in the film - complains to himself about it being much too small.
However, the skit takes a twist when director James Gunn formally introduces O'Neal to David Corenswet and informs him that he is in fact the new Superman and will be donning the iconic suit. With this revelation, O'Neal comedically storms off in mock frustration while singing part of the classic John Williams Superman theme as Gunn begs him to come back.
