Superman 1 Oz Silver and Gold Samoa Coins Available for Pre-Order

The Central Bank of Samoa has issued a new set of 1 oz silver and gold coins commemorating the 85th Anniversary of Superman.

Introducing a continuation from the DC Comics series, commemorating one of your favorite heroes - Superman. The reverse depicts Superman flying over tall buildings. The obverse shows the likeness of Queen Elizabeth II along with the issuing country's coat of arms, face value, year of issue, weight and proof.

Each coin contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver and 1 oz of .999 fine gold, respectively. The silver coin series has a limited mintage of only 250 coins and retails for US$92.51 per coin while the gold coin series has a limited mintage of only 150 coins and retails for US$2,231.71 per coin.
