"Superman: II" Screening in Auckland, New Zealand

Superman fans in Auckland, NZ will have the opportunity to see "Superman: II" on the big screen when the Hollywood Avondale Cinema presents a screening of the 1980 blockbuster film on Sunday, June 23rd at 4:00PM.
Golden Globe-nominee Christopher Reeve (The Remains of the Day, Deathtrap), Academy Award-winner Gene Hackman (The Birdcage, Unforgiven) and an all-star cast are back again in this sequel to the boxoffice smash that continues the great adventures of the Man of Steel.
Superman enters the battle of his life when he fights to save the planet Earth from three intergalactic arch-criminals whose powers are as fantastic as his own. Spectacular action, unlimited surprises abound, as Superman again faces a cosmic confrontation between good and evil. Amidst it all is the will-they-or-won't-they romance of the ever-flirtatious Lois and Clark.
Co-starring Margot Kidder (Maverick) as Lois Lane, Ned Beatty (Roseanne) and Academy Award-nominees Valerie Perrine (ER) and Terence Stamp (The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert).
