"Superman: IV" Actor Damian McLawhorn Joins Reeve Legacy Reunion

Former child actor Damian McLawhorn who starred in the role of Jeremy in "Superman: IV - The Quest for Peace" will be joining "The Christopher Reeve Legacy Reunion" at the 2022 Motor City Comic Con which takes place May 13th - 15th at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI.

His character is portrayed as an elementary school student who is motivated to write a letter to Superman asking him to destroy all the world's nuclear missiles to prevent nuclear war. After initially refusing to do so, the Man of Steel appears before the United Nations and states that he can't stand idly by and watch its citizens annihilate each other and will destroy all nuclear missiles starting immediately.

Presented by Jay Towers & Jim Bowers from the Caped Wonder Podcast, the reunion will also feature appearances by Aaron Smolinksi (infant Clark Kent - "Superman: The Movie"), Marc Mcclure (Jimmy Olsen - "Superman: The Movie"), Sarah Douglas (Ursa - "Superman: II"), Jack O'Halloran (Non - "Superman: II"), Mark Pillow (Nuclear Man - "Superman: IV"), and Mariel Hemingway (Lacy Warfield - "Superman: IV").

In addition, a limited edtition variant cover from the first issue of the "Superman '78" DC Comics series by writer Robert Venditti and Artist Wilfredo Torres will be available exclusively at the convention with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
