"Superman: IV" Costumes Head to Auction
An assortment of costumes from "Superman: IV - The Quest for Peace" will be up for bids at the "Treasures From Film and Television" entertainment memorabilia auction which will be hosted live in London by PropStore.com/ on December 1st & 2nd, 2020.
Available auction lots include a Superman costume tunic and leggings worn by actor Christopher Reeve; three Nuclear Man costumes worn by actor Mark Pillow; and Lenny Luthor's jacket and two pairs of trousers worn by actor Jon Cryer.
Other Superman items featured in the auction include a Fortress of Solitude crystal and a production used clapperboard from "Superman: The Movie"; a set of three screen-used Daily Planet newspapers from "Superman: II"; two photo-booth strips (one torn, one untorn) of Clark Kent changing into Superman from "Superman: III"; and a Christopher Reeve autographed production still from "Superman: IV - The Quest for Peace".
