CJ 4DPLEX, the global leader in premium film formats and cinema technologies, and AMC Entertainment (NYSE: AMC), the largest theatrical exhibitor in the world, are excited to announce that the highly anticipated "Superman" will be screened in select AMC theaters featuring the immersive SCREENX and 4DX technologies. This marks the first global partnership between the two companies, bringing these state-of-the-art cinematic formats to moviegoers in the United States and Europe.
The SCREENX and 4DX experiences will be available in 65 locations worldwide, including 25 SCREENX auditoriums and 40 4DX theaters across the United States and Europe. The collaboration aims to deliver unparalleled movie experiences to AMC guests, with the first SCREENX theaters opening in time for the summer blockbuster season and the first 4DX theaters debuting later this fall. The full rollout is expected to be completed by 2027.
