Weta Workshop Reveals 1:4 Scale Superman Black Suit Statue
Weta Workshop has officially unveiled their all-new 1:4 scale statue of Superman wearing the iconic black version of his costume based on the Man of Steel's appearance in "Zack Snyder's Justice League".
Limited to 1,000 pieces, the 1:4 scale statue in made from high quality polystone and portrays the most well-known superhero of them all - Superman, in an iconic black suit with the "S" emblazoned on his chest.
The statue includes 2 interchangeable heads with different facial expressions and LED light-up eyes as well as a unique base design featuring an additional "Zack Snyder's Justice League" plaque for display at collector's preference.
The sculpture's concept creation was performed under Zack Snyder's vision and direction followed by a prototype being digitally sculpted by Weta Workshop artist, Mauro Santini.
"The Justice League represents the greatest ever archetypes of heroes and villains," states Jules German, Head Painter at Weta Workshop. "The opportunity to work with Zack Snyder on the incredible stories of these legendary characters is both an honour and a privilege. It's quite literally a dream come true."
Please note that the preview images are renders of a digital model of the statue and that the final product is still in development. Details may change without further notice due to studio approvals and each sculpture is hand painted so there will be minor variations which occur.
The 1:4 Scale Superman Black Suit Statue retails for $899.00 (excluding applicable taxes) and is currently available for pre-order from Weta Workshop to coincide with the official premiere of "Zack Snyder's Justice League" on HBO max. Estimated delivery is January, 2022.
