At last nights Primetime Emmy Awards, Will Reeve (son of the late Christopher Reeve) spoke to Variety on the red carpet about his upcoming cameo appearance in director James Gunn's "Superman" (2025) in which he plays the role of a television reporter.

"I promise you it's not big, but it was a lot of fun. It was very quick, and blink and you'll miss it, but it was a great time," stated Reeve. "It's an honor. I think it's a nice full circle moment. It's great for the fans who have loved Superman for so many decades, and now as DC reboots the Superman franchise, it was a fun honor to be a part of, and I'm really excited to see what happens with it."

"Superman" (formerly "Superman: Legacy") tells the story of Superman's journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas.
