Warner Home Video has announced the release of "Super Friends: Season 1 - Volume 2" on DVD:

Following up on their Season 1: Volume 1 release this past January, Warner Home Video has announced that the second half of the first season will release on July 20th.

This two-disc set contains 8 more hour-long episodes filled with the adventures of the world's greatest super heroes, along with teen tag-alongs Marvin and Wendy (and Wonder Dog, of course!) and a "Super Friends interactive Trivia Challenge Quiz" game will be included as a bonus item.

This is the DVD debut for these classic Hanna-Barbera episodes, which includes appearances by other DC Comics heroes such as Plastic Man, The Flash, and Green Arrow. The title is priced at $26.99 SRP and will be available for pre-order soon.
